Ilfracombe Tour
3 hours Tuesdays and Sundays 10.30am - 1.30pm Hop onboard at the Visitor Information centre to be immersed in Outback Queensland's sheep history. As we travel to Ilfracombe see the big sky country and learn about what this country has to offer in the way of geology, flora, fauna and how people live on the "land". Once we get to Ilfracombe there will be time to explore machinery mile, Wellshot Centre and find out how the country rode on the sheep's back. With lunch (optional) at the iconic Wellshot Hotel - itself containing a lot of history but also renowned for it's quirky themes and activities. Then return to Longreach to continue your own adventures. |

Winton Day Tour Wednesdays and Saturdays 7am - 4.30pm BOOKINGS FOR 3 PEOPLE OR LESS WILL BE PENDING MINIMUM NUMBER OF 4 PARTICIPANTS Pick up and drop offs at your accommodation. The tour will be to Winton for the day. Highlights will be Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum entry, Waltzing Matilda Centre entry, Lunch at the North Gregory Hotel. We will show you some sights of Winton and visit some of the quirky landmarks. Then head on back to Longreach. |
